We had a wonderful time with our kids, Vito
and Lara, during the Mission Possible Cruise for Developmental Disabilities to Alaska back in 2014. Vito has Down Syndrome and Childhood Apraxia of Speech and was 4 years old at that time. He enjoyed a lot the swimming pool play as well as the live music sessions. He also liked just walking through the visited towns and had a nice time in the gardens in Victoria, Canada.
Rosalie and the Mission Possible Cruise staff were awesome and Celebrity Cruise general staff very supportive and helpful--including by adapting meal menus to Vito and Lara's many allergy-related restrictions. Speakers were also great and we gathered a lot of useful information. We also did in-Cruise sessions with a few of them that were very important to Vito's development. One of them continues to be our primary go-to specialist even with us living in Brazil. We hold regular phone consultations with him.
Mission Possible Cruise is definitely worth every dollar spent. A real joy for all the families with kids with Down Syndrome.
Christiane and Diego Bonomo"
- Thank you to Christiane, Diego & family for providing your experience of our 2014 Alaska Group Cruise for Developmental Disabilities. The Bonomo Family joined our Celebrity Cruise all the way from Brazil. It was such a pleasure to meet this lovely family and we so enjoy keeping in touch with them regularly.
